GCC and United Nations both confirm support for the Ministerial Conference at SIAL Middle East

 
 

Make sure that 22-24 November 2010 is marked in your diary because the world's largest network of food events is heading to Abu Dhabi.

Abdurrahman Bin Hamed Al Attiyah, Secretary General of the GCC and Jacques Diouf, Director General, Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, have both confirmed their presence on the opening day of the Ministerial Conference at SIAL Middle East.

Other confirmed participants for the opening session include:

  • H.E. Dr. Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment & Water, UAE
  • H.E Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, UAE
  • H.E. Dr. Tarik Bin Mousa Zadjali, Director General, Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development

They will be joined by agriculture, finance, environment and trade ministers from across the region, for a session focussing on the establishment of an integrated food policy.
