2017-04-13

On March 31, 2017, the Chairman of the Managing Board of VAN HEES, Juergen Georg Hueniken retired from the operational management after 23 years of extraordinarily successful work. He is succeeded by two chairmen who have been working for VAN HEES for years: Robert Becht and Frédérick Guet. “In an environment of constantly changing markets and increasing competition, VAN HEES intends to become even better prepared for the future with the new dual leadership,” says Robert Becht, who is also spokesman of the Managing Board.
Responsibilities are allocated as following: Robert Becht is in charge of purchasing, product development, marketing and sales, Frédérick Guet assumes responsibility for finance, controlling, human resources, production and IT. Mr. Hueniken will support the company for further two years taking care of special tasks.
Robert Becht is a certified master butcher and meat technologist. He was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and studied Marketing Management at the European Business School in the Rheingau area. Becht worked for several meat processing companies and also gained international experience as R&D-Officer for Woolworths Ltd in Australia. He is currently completing his studies on the job as an International Executive MBA in Switzerland. Robert Becht started working for VAN HEES in November 1997 and has held various positions since. Among others, he started the area's International Product Management and CRM-Management, which he has been managing for several years. Since January 2013 he has been member of the Managing Board.
Frédérick Guet has set new tones with VAN HEES as well. Native from France, Frédérick Guet has been Manager for finance, purchasing, logistics, process improvement and strategic investments in major international companies like Dow Chemical, Arcelor Mittal and Kimberley Clark. In January 2013, he became managing director of VAN HEES in France and Russia, and has thus been responsible of the whole operational business of these segments in the VAN HEES group, the company stated.
