Kerry Thailand opens first Meat Centre of Excellence in APMEA

As a global leader in taste and nutrition solutions for the food and beverage industry, Kerry has recently opened its expanded Regional Development and Application Centre in Bangpoo, Thailand. The facilitiy is also designated as the first Centre of Excellence for Meat in the APMEA region. The series of upgrades to its Thailand facility is designed to increase local innovation in food and beverage categories. Home to an application lab, interactive customer suite, as well as research and sensory facilities, the Regional Development and Application Centre enables Kerry to work with customers through all stages of product development – from ideation to testing and manufacturing. Leveraging Kerry’s global knowledge of the meat industry, customers can look forward to a portfolio of meat system technologies at the Meat Centre of Excellence to create value-added poultry, meat and seafood products. With smoke condensate becoming a more appealing choice of flavouring agent for meat, vegetables, dessert and even beverages, smoke technology is also in the meat innovation pipeline, the company reported.
